• The PAT-TEIN partners held their 5th Consortium Meeting in Ljubljana (Slovenia)

The PAT-TEIN project members held their fifth consortium meeting on the 15th & 16th April 2014. The local partner, the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Administration, hosted them in Ljubljana.

The members took a big step since their last meeting in Belfast in November 2013. The first Test-Module has been performed in early 2014 in five partner border regions.

The pedagogical tools developed on the basis of existing schemes on the French-German border (Euro-Institut) have been tested and adapted to the contexts, cultures and needs in the five partner spaces. At the end of the PAT-TEIN project, these tools will enable to train cross border project managers in a specific and targeted way, based on expectations and local situations.

A first series of tests was conducted on an audience of educationalists and experienced experts: it was necessary to validate the pedagogical/methodological approaches in order to make sure that they match to the cultures on either side of the border in each partner space.

A second series of tests will be conducted directly with the target group within a next step, namely cross border stakeholders and future project managers/initiators.

This first practical utilization of the developed tools was crucial for all partners just as well as the following exchange within the 5th consortium meeting. The common reflection on these experiences, the feedbacks of the participants, the selected and validated approaches was extremely profitable and motivating for all partners.

During the meeting, the partners worked also on the organization of the FINAL CONFERENCE of the project, which will take place in Strasbourg on the 18th of September 2014 at the European Parliament: SAVE THE DATE!
