Our new and easternmost TEIN member UPS-CESCI Research Group organised a lecture with the Polish scholar Prof. dr Jarosław Jańczak!

The Research Group on Cross-border Cooperation was jointly established by the Central European Service for Cross-Border Initiatives (CESCI) and the University of Public Service and joined only recently our network in December 2022!

On 21 November 2022, the political scientist and border scholar Prof. dr Jarosław Jańczak gave a presentation on the biggest challenges currently affecting European borders and possible visions of the future. He focused on the (Re-)Bordering Tendencies in (Post-)Pandemic Europe, Covid-19, Borderless Europe and Cross-border Governance in the EU and spoke about the current crises and their influence on new paradigms of border dynamics in contemporary Europe.

Prof. dr Jarosław Jańczak will hold a series of lectures on different border studies topics during the autumn semester in 2022/23. In the coming years, the Research Group will invite different border scholars as visiting lecturers to the University of Public Service.
