• Learning cooperation: TEIN’s online course about Interreg is now on EU Academy!

Interactions across borders have been the essence of the European project since its earliest days. Since 1990, the Interreg programme guarantees structural support for cooperation projects across the Union and with its borders, as part of the Commission’s regional policy.

Interreg has developed impressively over 3 decades, covering more and more diverse territories and financing a variety of game-changing projects in several fields, all contributing to the EU’s objective to reduce disparities in the levels of development, growth and quality of life in and across Europe’s regions.

In 2022, a consortium led by the University of Strasbourg in which TEIN has contributed together with the University of Arras, the MOT, the CESCI as well as the University of Thessaloniki developed a Massive Online Open Course (MOOC) to share all the insights about Interreg with the public.

Anyone interested in the topic can enrol, regardless of his or her current level of knowledge. Learners will discover the development of territorial cooperation, the policies and topics it touches upon, and gain concrete implementation tips to be active in Interreg. Videos, expert interviews, toolkits, policy documents, quizzes: a variety of materials makes the experience ever more engaging and insightful for all kinds of public.

Whether you are a long-time professional or a newbie to the topic, this is your opportunity to deepen your knowledge on European Territorial Cooperation. Enrol now!
