The TEIN annual general assembly was held on the 21st of October 2025 at the University of Girona.

The assembly was preceded by a meeting with representatives of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Diputació de Girona who are involved with the Espace Catalan Transfrontalier. This enabled TEIN members to discuss different cooperation perspectives, which proved to be a very enriching and inspiring experience.

The assembly was then an opportunity for TEIN partners to share information about the various projects in which they are involved, to reflect on new cooperation possibilities, and to discuss common issues related to cross-border cooperation. On this occasion, it was also an opportunity to:

• Welcome the University for Applied Sciences Kehl as a new full member;
• Appoint Martine Camiade as an honorary member of the network;
• And appoint a new steering committee for the next three years. Congratulations to Anthony Soares, Damien Bouvier, Martin Unfried and Birte Wassenberg! We would also like to thank the steering committee that was active from 2022 to 2025 for their wonderful involvement: Joanna Kurowska-Pysz, Peter Ulrich, Eithne Knappitsch and Birte Wassenberg!

Finally, a warm thank you to the Universitat de Girona and especially Jordi Cicres, Jaume Feliu and Alicia Betts for the excellent organisation.
