One of TEINs core values is dedicated to citizens’ engagement in order to mobilise people to engage in different European affairs and topics. It is essential to encourage citizens from all over Europe to be a part in these discussions. Through this form of participation citizens achieve a better understanding regarding different relevant topics as well as an improved communication between citizens from different European countries itself.

If citizens’ engagement has always been important in order to build up coherent public policies, it has become inevitable. Especially in cross-border territories citizens want to be involved. It is about rebuilding trust, rethinking cross-border living spaces & opening new possibilities for citizens & workers.
