The Registration to the workshops of this year’s European week of regions and cities in Brussels is open now. The event will spread over three consecutive weeks in October, each dedicated to one timely topic: Empowering Citizens, Cohesion and cooperation and Green Europe. The majority of the 500 sessions will be in fully digital format.

Register now for the workshop “Time to measure impact in border regions:  COVID-19 crossing borders” organised by the Centre for Cross Border Studies, Euro-Institut and ITEM-Maastricht University – all members of the Transfrontier Euro-Institute Network (TEIN) . This virtual workshop brings together experts and decision-makers to present and discuss methods for accurately measuring the impact of policy on the cohesion of cross-border territories. Especially the differences in approaches and in the timings of the introduction of measures to address the COVID-19 crisis by different EU member states and regions have shown the challenges at European, national and regional level in mapping territorial cross-border effects.
